We stand ZcaleRight up alongside your existing setup, point one integration at it to prove the path end to end, then move the rest when you are satisfied. Your BigBlueButton servers are untouched throughout, so there is a way back at every step.

Ours by default — we host and operate it, so you get a service rather than one more thing to run. Where your rules require the software to sit on your own infrastructure, that is fully supported too: it installs beside the BigBlueButton fleet it manages, and nothing about your meetings passes through us.

A modern Linux server, and a modest one: it proxies API calls and serves an interface, so it needs far less than a BigBlueButton node. We size it with you against your peak, and it is not where your media goes.

No — and no load balancer does. One BigBlueButton server comfortably carries around 250 people in a single room, and ZcaleRight spreads many meetings across many servers rather than raising the ceiling on any one of them. If a single enormous room is what you need, that is a BigBlueButton tuning question, and we are glad to talk about it separately.

They keep running. Live sessions are held on their BigBlueButton server, not on the balancer, so an upgrade window does not end anybody's class.

We do, as part of the agreement, at a time you choose. You are not tracking releases or scheduling your own maintenance.
